REVIVE AFRICA INITIATIVE CALLS ON DELTA STATE GOVERNOR TO PAY COMMUNITY HEALTH WORKERS
it has come to our notice that community health nurses in delta state has not been paid salaries since about a year now, most of the Nurses has resorted to charging the community patients just to survive,they charge as much as two thousand naira for malaria.these community health workers are in charge of the health and general well being of our citizens in every of the communities. if they revolt, a lot of lives will be in danger. governor Okowa of Delta state is a doctor and should understand the importance of these health officers to the communities. in as much as we have nothing against the governor. we are calling on him to take urgent actions to address this situation before it gets out of hands.
