LETTER TO NIGERIAN YOUTHS! Throw Away That Degree Otherwise You Will Die Poor Most of the educated people in Nigeria are poor. Majority of the educated earn less than N55,000 for a salary before tax and other deductions. When the deductions are put into consideration, the net salary comes to around N50,000. The net salary then suffers from loan deductions of up to N15,000 leaving the salary at around N35,000. The landlord then demands for his N15,000 and monthly shopping takes away N10,000 leaving one with a N10,000. The bus will demand for N300 going to and from work and relatives get another N2,500. The whole salary is gone and borrowed money starts operating. The borrowed money includes short loans and salary advances. The difference between poverty and prosperity is property. A prosperous person has property to his name while a poverty stricken person has no property to show. Using this understanding, therefore, most of the degree holders are poverty stricken, borrowing money...

From Bashir Maru's wall: MY SOUTHERN KADUNA NEIGHBOUR AND ME He and his family live in a boys quarter near my house. I wouldn’t call us friends given that he always tried to keep some kind of distance. But our children are definitely friends. They play together, watch tv together and even ‘farm’ their small ‘cooperative’ garden together. Well, I have the beautiful duty of taking my children to school every morning. I also include the children of another neighbor and pick up those of my sister on the way. But it always worried me that there was no space to carry these other children of my southern Kaduna neighbor, though they went to the same school. My guilt was compounded by the fact that at the time we would leave my house, the car would have some space that was reserved for my sister’s children that I would pick later. My heart always dropped when we rode past them to go to my sister’s house, while these little ones hiked, with backpacks and all, to the same school. Wallahi...

Greetings my beloved Africa people, this is the Pan Africa Federalist Movement Nigeria weekly broadcast and the topic for this week is CATALYSTS OF BAD LEADERS/GOVERNMENT: ARE WE VICTIMS OR ACCOMPLICES When we support people to become leader/form governments and eventually they become bad and corrupt leaders that promote poverty; we should not see ourselves as a victims of poverty but accomplices of poverty. The gift we receive from exploiters/politicians to grant them our consent has drifted our patriotic concerns for development into active accomplice of underdevelopment. Consequently, we have not be wise all times past; do we think we can become wise in the future? NO! I doubt because the young generation which pose as the future have been plagued with this culture of bribing and corruption. Thus, in the future, they will surely act and perform as we are doing; what they see us practicing and promoting surely will they inherit and foster in their time of reign We must n...

Message to the Youths and Leaders. My Orientation tells me that respect is reciprocal. Service and value endears a follower to the heart of a Leader, but when these ingredients are lacking....the Earth looses its salt. The local Govt elections are here. Yes...as a way of continuity how many of your loyal boys did you enthrone or throwup during the entire process. Leader answer me!!!! Again ask yourself as a leader, how many Persons you encouraged or attempted to assist even if it didnt work. How many did you console or reassure at the end? Most of you shot down fantastic followers, leaders of tmoro because you felt threatened. Although not in all cases but some leaders did because they ( The youths) dnt have the capacity to question them. You took advantage of their helplessness to enthrone mediocres in some wards. I have a message for you all that threw away the food that belongs to the children......the message will come....
